Priority-based multiband ducker with psychoacoustic modeling
Hypressor detects acoustic clashes between input channels and intelligently prevents them.
It uses psychoacoustic modeling to accurately determine if sounds clash with each other under realistic human hearing.
Hypressor allows you to specify 4 frequency bands and pick which inputs are the most important to hear in each band.
Intelligent priority-based multiband ducking with psychoacoustic modeling.
DSP is all simulated analog circuitry, providing very low latency and a “natural” sound.
Flat frequency response with <0.7dB ripple.
SIMD processing (SSE/AVX/NEON) for maximum DSP performance and GPU acceleration for maximum low-latency UI performance. Supports arbitrarily high framerates if your DAW does.
Low latency audio, suitable for realtime.
Audio rate parameter modulation.
4 stereo inputs. Inputs can be linked together to be treated as a single input for ducking purposes.
Input volume meters cover -30dB to +6dB.
Adjust the cutoffs of the 4 bands to match the spectrum of your audio, and adjust the priority of channels in each band.
If a lower-priority channel’s audio clashes with a higher-priority channel in that band, the lower-priority channel will be ducked just the right amount to prevent clashing.
The black circles next to each channel indicator display how much the channel is ducked in that band, from 0dB to -36dB.
Adjust the strength of the psychoacoustic modeling algorithm. The algorithm uses experimentally derived data to model the human hearing system and detect clashes that occur even if the sounds aren’t at exactly the same frequency.
Turning the strength of the psychoacoustic modeling to 0% will result in a more “clinical” sound, where only frequencies that precisely overlap with each other are considered to clash.
Analyzes the energy content of each input signal from C1 up to B8, and displays where your band cutoffs fall on the musical scale. Each energy detector has an optimal temporal response, resulting in extremely fast response time (if desired).
Hypressor’s detailed controls allow you to disable individual bands, adjust the response speed of each band, adjust input sensitivity, and adjust per-channel dry/wet output.
The black circles display the current ducking level of each channel/band, from 0dB to -36dB.
